vocabulary update
Last night i dreamt i heard Antonio utter his first sentence: "hey there, cutie."
He didn't know what it meant, but he said it as he sat on my thigh as he often does in his cute little way, and it made me laugh.
His current vocabulary, for posterity, includes:
dada - anyone he views as a parental figure (me, Andy, and starting to be used with Dani)
mama(mamamamamama) - anything that might be food (rice milk, pasta, cheerios)
ooohnooooo - his reaction to us cursing at other drivers, i think he's trying to say "don't be a hater"
haHA - "hello," or "nice to see you," or "you can't resist my charms!"
He's dropped the word he used to say most often: dowpmee.

the newest word is "choo-choo", which he associated mostly with trains, but includes muni and some other larger vehicles.
He also has been saying "pee-toe-pee-toe-pee-toe"etc. But that might be from my encouragement more than anything.
Oh, and raspberries and zerberts, though i guess those don't count as vocalizations.
